Health Care Litigation Associate Attorney
Duties: Advising and representing health care providers and entities on transactional matters, formation of health care entities, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Fraud & Abuse, Stark, AKS). Advising and representing providers in interactions with federal and state agencies, including regulatory audits, investigations, and eligibility issues. Reviewing and drafting documents for providers including compliance plans, vendor service agreements, employment & independent contractor agreements, and confidentiality agreements. Assisting clients with the collection of debts Presenting seminars on health care law to clients and community groups.

Qualification and Experience Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of health care regulatory experience working on fraud and abuse issues and compliance matters in the context of business transactions, such as joint ventures for health care companies and organizations. Experience with healthcare and/or life sciences transactions is required. Should have strong academic credentials. Should be able to work independently. Superb judgment and communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent client services. Responsiveness and the ability to collaborate with other team members of the practice group and the firm.
