Human Resources Generalist
Duties: Assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing of employees, assist and conduct training and development, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Serve as the Business advisor, Talent Advisor, assist HR Director with organization development needs, DEI initiatives, Workforce Analytics, Rewards and Recognition and Project Management. May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of administrative Team members within the group. May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations of team members. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications. Assist in helping to foster growth and innovation. Assist with retention strategies. Assist with leadership development. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; Legal and non-legal, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Assist as needed with Employee Relations matters. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Responsible for HRIS Report writing and data analytics. Assist with Facilities related projects. Assists with Benefits related projects as needed serving as a backup. Conduct HRIS Audits and respond to annual and compliance and inquiries. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 10+ years of progressive human resource management experience preferred. Strong emphasis on HR Business Partner experience. Mid to large law firm experience a plus. Influencing skills. Strong business and analytical skills. Strong people Manager. Experience supporting corporate clients. Experience in HR technologies, LMS and HRIS such as UltiPro. Excellent in facilitation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills. SHRM-CP a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to lead by example and gain trust. Ability to adapt to ambiguous environment and growth. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Ability to be flexible and work on administrative project as a team player. Must be customer service orientation with a positive disposition.
