Paralegal The candidate will directly support the administrative needs of the in-house legal department. Duties may be clerical, administrative and project-based, maintaining contract management, preparing corporate agreements, and correspondence and liaising with members from other Pilot Chemical locations. Creates and maintains corporate contract file room. Oversees contract management system. Maintains a database summarizing key terms of contracts and other documents. Prepare, organize and maintain matter files. Tracks legal invoices and reconciles on a monthly basis. Assists General Counsel in ensuring company compliance with Document Retention Policy and schedule. Manages offsite document storage. Internal review of sales and procurement contracts. Assists in the drafting and administration of corporate agreements. Assists board secretary in preparing, organizing, and maintaining board minutes, resolutions, consents and other board materials. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Responsible Care Management System® including the establishment of policies and procedures, assigning responsibilities and tracking progress. Completes other ad hoc projects as required. Must have Associates degree or higher. Paralegal certificate is needed. Should have 5 years of law office experience.
