Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include supporting litigations and arbitrations ranging from single-plaintiff actions to large, multi-plaintiff class actions; cite checking and Bluebooking briefs and memos; electronic case filing and PACER research; discovery management and deposition preparation; maintenance of electronic case files; and other litigation-related duties as required. Required Qualifications: Successful candidates must have a BA/BS degree and strong academic record Two or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal (exposure to labor and employment law is a plus) Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple assignments Flexibility and willingness to work overtime Application Process: Candidates may apply via Jones Day’s Current Job Opportunities website page Labor & Employment Paralegal – Washington D.C.
