State's Attorney The candidate will be responsible for prosecuting and attending the District Court to conduct, on behalf of the State, all prosecutions for public offenses. Supervise office staff including scheduling, work assignments/ special projects, training, counseling, and evaluating. Develop and/or implement policies and procedures, forms, work methods, schedules, job priorities to be followed, and coordinate all Departmental work. Act as legal advisor of the Board of County Commissioners. Responsible for duties as outlined in Chapter 11-16. Should have Juris Doctorate degree with 5 years of experience in an active law practice. Must have North Dakota license to practice law at the time of hire. Deadline: December 31, 2018.
