Duties:

  • Manage and advance litigation cases in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Independently handle a caseload with support from paralegals and case managers.
  • Draft and prepare various litigation documents, including motions, discovery, and pleadings.
  • Leverage proprietary AI software to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in case preparation.
  • Work diligently to meet case deadlines and move cases through discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Ensure clients are kept informed and satisfied with the progression of their cases.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio, or expected licensure with experience in other states.
  • 2 years of litigation experience, with a focus on civil cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing a full caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility to practice in Ohio).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent client management and interpersonal skills.
