Job Title: Senior Corporate Counsel
Job Overview: A prestigious law firm located in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join its dynamic and expanding corporate and securities practice. Duties:
- Advise and manage complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
- Handle entity structuring, joint ventures, and recapitalization efforts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and finance agreements.
- Assist clients with private offerings of securities.
- Provide legal counsel to real estate investment companies (a plus but not required).
- Maintain effective communication with clients, partners, and associates.
- Stay updated on corporate and securities law trends and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of corporate law experience, specifically in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and securities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects.
- Experience advising real estate investment companies is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Certifications:
- Must have an active law license in the State of Texas.
