Attorney The candidate will provide legal advice and representation to ensure that Agency accomplishes its mission in compliance with applicable laws. Will ascertain facts, analyze issues, apply legal authorities, render opinions, and advocate Agency positions. Perform legal research and writing, counsel clients, and represent the Agency before legal forums. Oversee and direct Agency programs. Provide timely, accurate, and practical legal advice and counsel to ensure Agency accomplishes its mission in compliance with the Constitution, Presidential Directives and policies, and applicable laws. Conduct research, render legal opinions, conduct litigation, and advocate Agency positions. Work cooperatively with others within the office, the Agency, the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and the US Government. Perform legal research and writing, counsel clients, and represent the Agency before legal fora.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from a law school accredited by the ABA. Must be a member in good standing of a bar of a US state or territory, the District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Should have practiced law, post licensure, for 3+ years. Should have demonstrated experience and ability to provide timely, accurate, and practical legal advice and counsel to enable an organizational mission consistent with applicable laws and regulations. Experience providing legal advice and counsel on all types of government contract law matters including the formation and administration of contracts, intellectual property rights, bid protests, claims and disputes is desired. Experience providing legal advice and counsel in support of the US Military, Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or other US Government agencies is an asset. Advanced education in government contract law, procurement, or intellectual property law would be a plus.
