ProfileContracts Associate The candidate will review, negotiate and draft contracts and standardized templates pertaining to new products, product supplements, new master agreements, premier agreements, etc. Effectively partner with the Law department to ensure successful negotiations, resulting in effective agreements which have properly mitigated risk. Will act as advisor on requirements, workflows, processes and implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management system. Will manage relationships with Customer Service, Sales, Finance and others to implement and improve contract processing workflows including tracking within CRM.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree; JD or other advanced degree strongly preferred. Should have 3-5 years experience with contract management including drafting, revising and negotiating. Should have solid understanding of contract law, contract language and principles, and applicable legislation. Should have ability to work in a collaborative environment and work proactively with Law Department, business unit, customers, and Sales. Should have excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail. Should have outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills. Should have a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information. Should have strong organization, effective planning, problem solving, and analytical skills. Should have superior communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to liaise comfortably with all levels of management; Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations or urgent requests that may arise with little or no notice. Must exhibit initiative and assertiveness in obtaining information needed to proceed with projects and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
