Legal Specialist The candidate provides professional legal support by assisting supervising attorneys with a wide range of tasks. Depending on the assigned dept, it may involve litigation, transactional/contractual or regulatory support. Specialists will draft legal and business communication, participate in the administration and negotiation of contracts, general file and database management, gather documents and respond to litigation requests, assist with regulatory filings, respond to customer legal inquiries by involving the proper legal department. Conduct legal research/research business problems and provide recommendations as to course of action; respond to clients legal inquiry under the supervision of counsel; review legal documents (e.g., deeds, contracts, subpoenas) to identify key issues. Under supervision, draft business/legal communications typically using template forms (e.g., contracts, discovery, regulatory filings, cease/desist letters). General file/database management – maintain complete and accurate electronic and paper files for all assigned matters. Gather relevant documents for contract negotiation/drafting, litigation responses, regulatory filings. Negotiate settlement of smaller matters (e.g., small-claims litigation, low regulatory fines) or negotiate smaller contracts/ amendments/statements of work. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Should have a associate’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Must have 2+ years of years of relevant work experience. Should preferably have 3-5 years experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, or 3-5 years experience as a claims adjuster or manager at a claims management company or insurer. Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent claims management certificate is a plus. Should preferably have experience in commercial litigation including contract disputes, business torts, class actions, antitrust, construction, and real estate law. Customer service experience is a plus.

Pros : i work at Home Depot for 9 years start as a door checker then move to inside/outside garden 1 year latter move to hardware then back to inside/outside Garden employer/employee after you are hire you go to a room and watch a video on which department you are assign to after the video there is a test on how good you listen to it
Cons : Home Depot is a good company to work at in the short term but long term it is not a good place to work at if you want job securitry management is not always honest to its Employees they will write you up for any reason so they can move up the ladder whale we stay where we are everything ilearn there i learn on my owned with no help from anybody
