Bilingual Client Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant Duties: Remain calm, listen carefully and treat survivor-clients with respect and empathy. Conduct initial phone screening with potential clients to assess eligibility for services. Schedule client intakes and appointments with staff attorneys. Work with clients to gather case information and documentation. Assist in implementing an outreach plan to increase access for services for survivors throughout the Commonwealth. Conduct legal research. Assist with tracking and managing client data. Other administrative tasks as directed by the Managing Attorney.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 2 years relevant experience as a client intake specialist and/or legal assistant with significant client interaction. Fluency in Spanish. Excellent writing, verbal, computer, and data management skills. Ability to establish priorities and to work independently. Must be detail-oriented, highly flexible, self-motivated, and interested in being the first point of contact for survivors and an integral of the legal team.
