Paralegal The candidate will be organizing and maintaining of court materials. Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, other court documents, and subpoenas. Preparing of correspondence, memoranda, discovery, and other communications with minimal supervision. Managing of docket, matter dates, and deadlines. Deposition digesting and preparation. Hearing, motion and trial preparation. Prioritizing and processing high volumes of work in a timely and accurate manner. Must have Bachelor's degree and/or ABA approved program paralegal certificate. Should have 5+ years of current experience working as a litigation paralegal in a major law firm setting. Experience aiding attorneys in all aspects of litigation; trial preparation; e-filing (CM/ECF) pleadings is needed. High proficiency using Outlook Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is must.

"Bad Communication"

Improving communication would be the biggest thing that needs work. Let your associates know what is going on within the firm so that we can do our jobs correctly.

Pros : The work/life balance here is very good and the office environment is conducive to getting things done. Support staff is well trained and everyone seems very willing to help out if needed.
Cons : Communication from management seems to have hit a brick wall. Nobody can ever quite decide what direction to take the firm in, and important information is always revealed at the very last minute.
