Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to join its Business Group. This attorney will work with a variety of business clients, both large and small, across multiple sectors. The role involves extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts, with a particular focus on the consumer goods and consumer products industries. A portable book of business is required for consideration.

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts, including Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, Raw Material Supply Agreements, Packaging Supply Agreements, Equipment Leases, Equipment Purchase Agreements, and Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent legal counsel.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of talented attorneys across multiple offices.
  • Manage significant individual responsibilities while handling multiple projects at once.
  • Provide client-focused solutions with attention to contract law and risk management.
  • Contribute to pro bono and public service initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts, particularly within the consumer goods or consumer products industries.
  • A portable book of business is required.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Client-service orientation with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law.
