Senior Compliance Specialist The candidate will work directly with the Vice President and Director of Regulatory Compliance to support oversight and administration of regulatory and corporate compliance for our internal staff and insurance company clients. This is a long-term position with strong growth potential for the right candidate. Assist Account Management staff and compliance team with monitoring and researching existing and new state insurance regulations and legislative developments, including insurance premium tax and insurance company reporting requirements. Direct related compliance activity for staff and clients. Interact directly with state regulators, internal staff and clients on regulatory matters. Prepare and review correspondence, regulatory submissions and client corporate meeting materials . Working knowledge of or exposure in the insurance industry. Professional qualifications or experience in a legal or paralegal office setting. Bachelors Degree required. Strong verbal and writing skills required. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills essential. Must be computer literate, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to work on special projects and client demands as they arise.
