Legal Assistant / Receptionist The candidate duties include: Answering phones and speaking with clients and potential clients; Managing attorney schedules; Scheduling client intake appointments, phone conferences, and follow up appointments; Reviewing, editing, and drafting legal documents including Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Real Estate documents, letters and other related instruments; Preparing Estate Planning Notebooks for clients; Organizing and digitalizing client files; Receiving, sending, and documenting all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. Must have Associate's degree. Should have 1-2 years of estate planning and reception/administrative experience. Must have Advanced computer skills including Windows-based applications such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and supplemental machinery including printers, scanners, fax machines, and copiers. Should have experience and familiarity with practice management software system. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
