Profile

Labor and Employment Associate
Candidate will work for Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration practice group. Superior academic and writing credentials with California Bar admission is required. Will have 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment litigation and a desire for trial work. Experience in defending wage and hour claims, including wage and hour class action lawsuits, is also desired. Will also have meaningful experience in transactional employment work, including the drafting of employment and severance agreements, drafting EEOC position statements and DFEH responses, and conducting witness interviews and depositions. Having a background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies and assisting clients with employment training programs is also a plus. Experience in traditional management labor relations is also advantageous.

I suggest having some fun team building stuff to keep people from getting bored. People will work better if they aren't so bored all the time.

Pros : The work here is extremely easy and the pay is decent enough for it. We even get a decent amount of vacation time.
Cons : Every day here is a slog and you just count down the hours until it is over. The work is boring and requires no thought at all.
