Profile

2018 Fall Legal Internship Intern must be enrolled in a J.D. or L.L.M. program. Preference will be given to 2L students, but will consider applications from 1Ls. Preference will also be given to students enrolled in capital or criminal defense clinics, and to students with fluency in Spanish. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others in a team-based approach. Representing inmates charged with the death penalty or who are already on death row is vital and fascinating work, but it is generally not popular.
