Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Mid-Level Life Sciences Health Industry Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in health litigation and investigations. Excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex healthcare litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in all discovery phases, including drafting discovery requests and responses.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Provide strategic legal advice and support to clients in the life sciences and healthcare industries.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communications.
• Stay updated on developments in healthcare laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.
• 3-5 years of experience in health care litigation and investigations.
• Strong understanding of health care laws, including the False Claims Act, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters.
• Excellent academic credentials with a strong GPA.
