Legal Assistant Discovery and Scheduler Responsibilities: Plaintiff Response to Written Discovery, Production, Interrogatories & Admissions. Provide Responses to all Discovery, Production, Interrogatories, Supplementary Discovery, and Admission. Interview Client for Response to O.C. Discovery Request. Gather all Exhibits for Plaintiff’s Response to the Request to Produce. E-file and Serve all Attorney Approved Responses. Scheduler of Legal Events. Coordinate & calendar hearings, depos & mediations. Confirm/Cancel scheduled hearings, depos & mediations.
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: Should have 1 year of current law firm experience drafting responses to Discovery & assisting with scheduling of hearings depos and mediations. Must be competent and proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and G-Suite programs. Must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills, in a professional, business manner. Ability to speak and write Creole is a plus. Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Must demonstrate a sense of urgency. Must have the ability to type accurately 50 WPM & a thoroughness and attention to detail. Ability to solve problems and strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
