Workers Compensation Paralegal (Applicant Firm) The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. New client telephone screening. Assist with initial client intake. Gather claim information needed to file with the Division of Workers' Compensation. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Obtain medical and employment records, as needed. Assist with prompt client communication, including phone and e-mail contact. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Should have 1 year of previous experience as a workers' compensation paralegal or in other legal fields. Familiarity with legal research is needed. The ability to prioritize and multitask is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be deadline and detail-oriented.
