Assistant District Attorney: Appeals The candidate will draft briefs and participate in oral argument before state appellate courts, respond to post-conviction motions to vacate judgment and set aside sentence, and answer writs of habeas corpus in the federal courts. Must have superior analytical, research, and writing skills. Must have prior experience as an appellate attorney or equivalent work experience. Must be a graduate from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to the New York Bar (or have the ability to obtain admission promptly).
