Family Law Assistant Duties: Assist Family Law Attorney with various day-to-day tasks involved in the management of client files. Substantial client contact, including telephone, email and written correspondence. Maintain organization of client files and note important deadline. Manage attorney’s calendar and arrange appointments and telephone conferences with clients and guests following the Standard Operating Procedure. Electronically file documents with the Court. Arrange for proper service of documents. Various other tasks around the office as may be needed, including answering phones, greeting clients, and mailing out client bills on a monthly basis.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High school or equivalent required. Must be professional and personable and be able to manage a high paced environment. Office Experience required –Telephone Skills, Scheduling, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Conference Calls, Organization, Excellent verbal and written communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Multitasking, etc.
