Duties

- Counsel clients on entity formation and selection, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations.

- Guide business succession planning and investments in real property.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and strategic planning.
- Draft and review related legal documents, agreements, and reports.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop innovative solutions for complex tax issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal, state, and local business tax advisory.
- Experience with business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, real property investments, and succession planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
