Land Acquisition Manager The candidate will assist in the identification and assessment of land purchase opportunities throughout the Southern California market. Will work independently to negotiate land acquisitions, perform sophisticated land use and financial analysis, and negotiate purchase agreements. Oversee due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis. Must have solid background in land planning, zoning, law, and/or real estate. Should have an understanding of strategies to take advantage of current trends and adjust acquisition efforts accordingly. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Business is essential. A Juris Doctorate Degree is a plus. Should have 3+ years of experience in residential construction, Single and/or Multi-Family Land Acquisitions and in Land Acquisitions, Planning and Development Must have history of leadership roles showing the ability to manage large-scale building projects or land portfolios, preferably in residential development.
