Industrial Property Management Specialist, GS 9 The candidate will survey categories of contractor property control systems. Review contractor inputs into and reports from the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Regional Inventory Tracking Application (RITA) program to ensure data records and data fields contain all required information. Review the contractor's property logs for accuracy. Identify deficiencies in recordkeeping to the Government Property Administrator. Review contractor's Supply Management Plan and recommends any changes or issues to the Government Property Administrator and Supply Officer. Address contractor deficiencies and assists in determining adequate procedures and controls to implement. Establish a surveillance schedule, coordinate with the Government Property Administrator and conduct complete surveys. Conducts audits and inspections per the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and applies statistical sampling techniques to obtain and validate data. Traveling is required.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have the following qualifications:
For GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with conducting surveys and contract surveillance, audits or inspections on property management programs and control systems.
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.

Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. My major study was in business administration, accounting, law, marketing, statistics, production management, industrial management, or other fields related to the position.


Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.


Possess a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
