Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Plaintiff’s personal injury firm is currently seeking an experienced paralegal / legal Assistant for a full time position. Duties and responsibilities include the following: calendar management (scheduling court conferences and motions, arranging for appearances, scheduling depositions); scheduling no-fault and defense medical examinations; opening files; no-fault applications; letters of representation; medical records requests; preparing settlement letters; contact with clients, medical offices, defense counsel, insurance companies and court personnel; drafting litigation documents, basic motions; trial preparation; etc. The individual will work closely with the principal attorney and other experienced staff members (attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, etc.).

Applicant should possess the following traits: common sense; intelligence; personality; high level of organization; professionalism; efficiency and productivity; motivation; strong work ethic; attention to detail; and abilities to multi-task, prioritize assignments and work in a team environment.

** Must have 2 years minimum of Personal Injury Experience**
