San Diego office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an organic chemistry patent agent with 2+ years of substantive patent experience related to small molecule pharmaceuticals. The candidate will draft and prosecute patent applications and conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses. In addition to patent prosecution, responsibilities include supporting IP due diligence, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences), and other IP matters related to small molecule pharmaceuticals. Must have an advanced degree (. preferred, or . with several years of industry experience) in chemistry, with a strong emphasis in organic or medicinal chemistry. Should preferably have 3-5 years of experience. Must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
