Training Specialist: GS 9 Duties: The candidate will coordinate directives for new equipment training and doctrine and tactics training plans for USA Chemical School during Training Integration Work Group meetings. Will support the integration of new equipment for which the USA Chemical School has proponency. Ensure any contractor-developed products meet requirements of Army and Training and Doctrine Command. Conduct analysis, develop, design, execute and evaluate training materials support new equipment training and doctrine and tactics training plans. Prepare the Training Test Support Package for new equipment. Conduct classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises and field training exercises. Serve as senior advisor on technical issues for proper operation, care, maintenance and employment of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear equipment.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification: The candidate should have 1+ year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in the development of training materials such as individual tasks, lesson plans, student training guides, programs of instruction, student handouts and slide materials, conducting classroom instruction, operating Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear equipment and vehicles, operating office automation equipment and utilizing software programs for new equipment in preparation of variety of documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Must have Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education.
Must have combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements.
