Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including premises liability, auto accidents, slip & fall, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
  • Manage a heavy caseload, ensuring that all assigned cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlines.
  • Draft pleadings and complaints, file lawsuits, perform legal research, draft motions, and respond to discovery requests.
  • Prepare mediation briefs and trial preparation materials.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Argue motion and opposition hearings, both remotely and in court.
  • Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to build case files.
  • Negotiate and settle cases.
  • Provide excellent client service and communication.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) and admission to the California State Bar.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury law.
  • Strong ability to manage cases under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to learn and grow professionally.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills, including drafting legal documents and case management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Negotiation skills for settlements and case resolutions.
  • Strong research and analysis abilities.
