Labor and Employment Associate The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience. Should have in-depth knowledge of both federal and employment laws and be willing to work collaboratively with members in other practice area groups. Should also have experience in: litigating employment cases, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete and wage and hour matters; taking and defending depositions in labor and employment matters; providing common sense solutions to complex employment problems; conceptualizing and articulating pragmatic/creative counseling and advice to clients; and reviewing, analyzing, negotiating and drafting employment and consulting contracts, separation agreements, settlement agreements, employment releases, handbooks, and other labor and employment contracts and related documentation. Proven experience representing employers, large and small, in employment disputes is required. Strong academic and professional credentials are essential. Experience with employment litigation is a must. Should have a wide range of labor and employment law experience, business acumen and dispute resolution. Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Should be licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. Multiple State Bar admissions are a plus.
