ProfileCivil Litigation Paralegal Duties: Retention of experts and scheduling of IMEs. Prepare deposition notice and subpoena. Prepare pretrial calendar. Review expert reports and provide summary. Prepare trial exhibits, witness and expert binders. Prepare subpoenas for records and follow up with subpoena company to obtain all records. Oversee the organization and maintenance of case files. Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Paralegal certificate from ABA approved program. 5+ years required as a civil litigation paralegal, strong working knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure, knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure helpful. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting multiple attorneys, who is organized, efficient, tech-savvy. Must be able to prioritize multiple work assignments, work well under deadlines and have strong attention to detail. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, basic proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
