Healthcare Paralegal The candidate will draft provider agreements and maintain electronic contract management database. Will prepare and file license applications for urgent care centers. Identify licensure issues and develop summary material for attorney. Develop and maintain process to administer and maintain provider contracts. Acts as liaison and manage relationships with outside counsel, consultants, and company personnel. Draft NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and other development documents. Develop and manage center licensure tracking process. Prepare general corporate documents. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements. Manage communications contained on company intranet. Facilitation and identification of ongoing projects to improve legal services to internal and external customers. Implement overall stop gap solutions, integrate previously outsourced tasks, manage meetings and develop procedures for ongoing processes. Acts with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including, but not limited to, employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university. Paralegal Certification a plus. Must have 5 years of experience working in a corporate and/or regulatory law environment. Healthcare experience a plus. Experience in a fast-paced office setting handling a high volume of administrative work is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Exceptional customer service skills and succinct, professional communication is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
