Associate Attorney - Business Immigration The candidate will communicate directly with foreign nationals and HR representatives to request documents needed for case applications, and discuss new and ongoing case matters. Prepare nonimmigrant, immigrant and PERM filings (including Hs, TNs, Es, Ls and Os) to various government agencies. This includes drafting letters, requesting/organizing supporting documents, and preparing filings for submission. Make extensive use web based case management software to keep all cases current and up to date. Track case milestones and deadlines and proactively report on any potential delays or timeline risks to the Managing Attorney. Prepare, format, and proofread case documents. Perform online research for immigration matters. Must have Bachelor's degree, JD degree, and be licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction (preferably California). Should have 3+ years of experience practicing business immigration in a high-volume environment. Must have experience managing complex issues and relaying those concepts in an easy to understand format to clients. Substantive expertise in understanding the rules for filing PERMs and responding to audits is preferred. Command of MS Word (use of tables, headers/footers, hyperlinks, bookmarks, references, track-changes, etc.) desired. Experience using cloud based storage and document collaboration software preferred
