Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be working for an Insurance Defense firm. Must have an Associate degree. Must have a minimum of two(2) years of experience in an insurance defense setting. Experience with federal and state electronic filing, file management, discovery (i.e. medical records) collection and organizing, producing medical and litigation chronologies plus trial preparation and support is preferred. Must have experience drafting basic litigation filings such as affidavits, authorizations, subpoena preparation, service waivers, and removals. The paralegal will be supporting attorneys involved in auto and other accidents, construction cases, bad faith insurance defense and experience in those areas will be considered a plus. A Paralegal diploma/certificate is preferred, with strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills using MS Office applications; flexibility to work overtime as needed; good organizational skills; ability to work well under deadlines; and excellent interpersonal skills.
