ProfileEnhanced Services Project Paralegal The candidate will work for its Enhanced Services Project (ESP), a project funded by a grant from the Legal Services Corporation. Will be supervised by the Pro Bono Director and will work closely with the Pro Bono Engagement Attorney. Work in Firms office downtown with travel required at other ALAS county offices. Work with the Pro Bono Director, Pro Bono Engagement Attorney and Pro Bono Paralegal to expand the project, supervise volunteers and assist in daily project tasks. Administrative tasks, data entry, collection and review, pro bono attorney recruitment, grant reporting requirements, volunteer training and client interviews, and other related responsibilities. Undergraduate degree and a paralegal certificate are preferred. Must have 2+ years of work experience in an office environment, have strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, experience with law office management software, data collection and review, and have a demonstrated interest or experience working with low-income persons. Must have substantive knowledge of legal issues relevant to firm clients, particularly public benefits, are strongly encouraged to apply. Communication and listening skills, ability to work in a team and alone, adaptability, and appreciation of diversity are required. Previous experience with program administration and leading trainings is highly valued. Terms: This grant funded position is for 1 year.
