Legal / Regulatory Assistant The candidate schedules and coordinates monthly calls and meetings with California affiliates, including creating agendas and taking notes. Handles in-person meeting logistics for state-wide meetings, including travel, hotel and food arrangement, preparation of materials and agendas (including Power Point presentations and WebEx). Maintains legal team calendars. Maintains legal team project lists. Collects data from Affiliates, as needed, and presents graphically for meetings and presentations. Books hotel and travel. Manages contract review and execution. Maintains legal library and legal sections of state-wide intranet. Assists with document collection for litigation. Tracks MCLE credits and deadlines for legal team. Assists legal team with financial reconciliation requirements, such as credit card statements and reimbursement for work-related expenditures. Assists legal team with preparation, submission, and tracking all health care regulatory filings, including preparing filings for signature, delivering finalized applications to regulatory entities, and coordinating with Affiliate and regulatory entity staff. Maintains and update regulatory guidance binder and related resources. Performs light research to verify the status of regulatory filing checklists and related materials. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Power Point) is required. Experience with collecting, tracking, and presenting data is needed. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Must have 1-2 years of previous experience.
