Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, making copies, and faxing. Maintaining all case calendaring for the office. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling hearings, responses, depositions, affidavits, and vacations. Prepare legal documents and other miscellaneous correspondence as requested. Coordinate meetings and projects with clients. Coordinate court reporters attendance for depositions and trials. Should have previous administrative support with Paralegal certification preferred. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong technical aptitude in regards to software applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and legal calendaring software.
