Trusts & Estates Paralegal The candidate should have a strong familiarity with fiduciary accountings and be able to manage estate administration from case inception through accounting. Duties will include: Preparation of both state and federal tax returns; Assisting with estate litigation when needed; Collection of information needed for fiduciary income tax and gift tax returns; Collection of information for charitable and foundation reporting; Coordination of trust administration. Should have Bachelorâ€™s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate in addition to at least 3 years of experience handling probate and trust administration. Fiduciary accounting experience is a must, as is mid- to large-sized law firm experience. Working knowledge of programs such as Zane, FPS, Estate Val and Excel is important. The Trusts & Estates Paralegal should also be a notary public.
