ProfileContracts Paralegal The candidate will review, draft and advise upon documents relating to the Companyâ€™s day-to-day operations, including real property leases and management agreements, commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements and miscellaneous matters. Will provide project management and drafting expertise with regard to the Companyâ€™s routine commercial transactions and related business issues, and work collaboratively with the Legal Departmentâ€™s lawyers and other Paralegals to represent the Legal Department through direct contact with internal clients and a broad range of external vendors, clients and landlords. Independently undertake contract formation and related matters, including reviewing and drafting leases and commercial contracts and preparing document exhibits and amendments, and supporting negotiation performed by account managers.Exercise independent judgment and discretion in negotiating on behalf of the Company on these matters. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal business partners and outside resources; independently coordinate with internal business partners, outside counsel, Companyâ€™s clients and clientsâ€™ counsel as needed. Support the Contracts Manager on matters of governance and maintenance of the Companyâ€™s contracts database, and support the Corporate Paralegal as time permits. Should have 5+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal in a transactional or contracts based practice or in contracts management, with in-house legal experience preferred. College degree or paralegal certificate is essential. Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential. Should be highly proficient in various standard PC-based software packages, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
