Part-time Legal Fellow Spring 2020
The candidate will assist with legal and policy research, conduct legal analysis, assist with other projects and tasks as assigned, as well as provide administrative support to the Government Relations Department. Analyze and track pending choice-related legal cases. Assist in background research on federal judicial nominees. Research choice-related record for electeds. Analyze and track choice-related legislation. Other related research projects as assigned. Assist with department administrative tasks as needed. Collaborate with other company Pro-Choice America departments as needed. Fellows are encouraged to attend briefings and other policy events with company Pro-Choice America staff. Attend briefings and other policy events with company Pro-Choice America staff. Collaborate with other departments on projects as needed. Must have completed at least one year of law school. Four-year college degree required. Must have understanding of, and commitment to, company’s mission and goals. Experience in Westlaw and legal research required. Excellent writing and research skills needed.
Internship Date: Start date January 13th, 2020 end date flexible on or after May 15th.
