Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate intakes and organizes case files for new and existing clients. Maintains case management system by uploading all client documents. Keeps clients informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with client; communicating case progress. Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc. Monitor and obtain discovery responses. Request medical records from providers. Other duties as assigned. Must have 5+ years experience as a paralegal or case manager litigating personal injury cases. Full knowledge of Connecticut civil procedure is essential. Personal Injury trial experience is essential. Workers' Compensation is a plus. Should have experience using a case management system and strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong client/colleague communication skill is essential.
