  • Handle the preparation and response to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Draft briefs, legal documents, and memos related to worker's compensation cases.
  • Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in cases.
  • Manage the collection, organization, and analysis of case-related documents and evidence.
  • Stay updated on worker's compensation laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and other attorneys to develop legal strategies and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the worker's compensation field.
  • Active North Carolina Bar admission in good standing.
  • Experience in drafting briefs and other legal documents.
  • Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting hearings and depositions.
