Labor Attorney Responsibilities: Provides litigation and/or non-litigation support for Legal Department. Labor and Employment attorney will interpret and provide advice on many different kinds of employment laws, including wage and hour laws, workplace safety, rest break laws, disability leave laws, workplace harassment, employee discrimination, and wrongful discharge.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from ABA Accredited Law School. Member in Good Standing of State Bar of California; Admitted/Eligible for Admission to Federal District Courts for Central, Eastern, and Southern District of California. 3+ years of prior legal experience in law firm, public sector, and/or in-house position. 10+ years as first-chair management negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.
