Compliance Counsel (Director) Duties: The candidate will provide senior expert support for Compliance/Integrity Risk Assessments and related controls that are part of the company's Risk and Control Framework (ARC Framework) and act as a business partner to the business, Enabling Functions and GBA and country Compliance Officers. Provide senior expert support on process and procedures, implementation of AGBP/SACS/ABC/AML, and enable the Compliance Officers and the business as a whole with compliance advice. Provides senior experts support in major (above country) investigations and enables the GBA and country Compliance Officers and the Compliance Committees with advice on GBA/country investigations and may be appointed by the Global Compliance Officer on a case-by-case basis to lead major investigations. Monitor compliance laws and regulatory trends, developments and best practices and know-how sharing, developing FAQs. Identify awareness & training needs based on lessons learned and otherwise, proving expert input on global training programs and micro-learnings and design content of global training and micro-learnings. Provide senior expert support on the development and implementation of ARC Framework controlled documents / Compliance related policies, procedures, contract templates, notices, and controls, KYC/human rights/ethics due diligence. Provide senior expert support on the implementation of KYC/ESG requirements including corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence requirements. Provides follow-up and consultation to project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program requirements. Manage the compliance-related business processes in support of the Global Compliance Officer (Compliance BPO owner) to ensure consistent global ways of working and in close collaboration with the other LCP BPOs. Provide senior expert input on change management and communication programs in related to the focus areas of this role. Support the Global Compliance Officer in case of Global Crisis Response in relation to AGBP/Compliance/Integrity related matters and local Crisis Responses where appropriate. Role Model Integrity by design, the AGBP and ABC/SACS, the ARC Framework and Regulatory and Policy Compliance (one of the majorrisks in the ARC Framework and Assurance Program), and the related controls. Act as a visible steward of Compliance, Compliance Business Processes, and Compliance quality management, core values, and behaviors. Safeguard compliance with relevant laws and regulations, increase awareness and provide or signpost additional training where needed. Provide front-line senior advisory and establish trusted and influential relationships. Implement the overall LCP Function Strategy and roadmap through effective expertise to the organization and delivery of sustainable solutions in line with BPO processes.
Qualification and Experience
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree, a proven background in progressive compliance experience in a compliance or legal capacity, and qualified to practice law. Should have broad international experience and understand the complexity of conflicting local laws, with cultural sensitivities and an eye for local needs. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in compliance laws and best practices and understanding the priorities and needs of the business and risk profile. Excellent understanding of the regulatory landscape in which large multinational companies l operate. Proven experience leading Code of Conduct-related investigations and issue management, including with external authorities. Desire to drive operational compliance excellence through the global LCP function, including motivating and engaging with networks and diverse teams. High level of communication skills and expertise in consulting, coaching and presenting in a clear and concise manner. Application Deadline: 10 October 2022
