Duties: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of client agreements, including reinsurance intermediary authorizations, engagement letters, licensing agreements, co-broker agreements, introduction agreements and NDAs. Overseeing **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s client contract service team in Mumbai. Assisting with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s record retention policies and procedures. Assisting with litigation management, discovery, and regulator document requests. Conducting legal research and analysis on a range of topics impacting **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s business operations in North America, including insurance and reinsurance laws and regulations, privacy and employment matters, and licensing arrangements. Working closely with and assisting the company’s North America compliance team. Fostering an environment of high ethical standards and promoting a culture in which employees feel free to speak up. Keeping abreast of new and changing laws and regulations. Our training program will be customized to your needs, fill in any knowledge gaps on reinsurance and get you up to speed on general risks related to the reinsurance industry. Keep up with industry-related standards and changes, as well as country/region specific regulatory changes. Balance business and growth priorities with the company’s need to manage risk. Conduct research and compile reports related to the changing risks in our industry landscape. Promote integrity and enforce the company’s policies and procedures consistently.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree with license to practice law. 3-5 years of legal-related experience, with a strong preference for law firm experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Track record of working independently and exercising good consistent good judgment. Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and to see tasks through to completion.
Stand out: Industry experience in reinsurance or insurance, brokerage, or insurance regulation. Exposure to specialty areas such as data privacy, sanctions, FCPA, employment law and antitrust a plus. Ability to collaborate across levels and business units effectively. A willingness and ability to embrace a growth mindset.
