Duties:

  • Handle assigned cases from start to finish, including court communications, discovery production, and trial preparation.
  • Litigate cases in state and federal courts.
  • Draft, file, and respond to motions and legal filings promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and legal staff.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients.
  • Prepare for hearings by conducting legal research, drafting motions, and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Advocate for clients to achieve the best possible outcomes in legal matters.
  • Maintain professional conduct and attire in court and during client interactions.
  • Participate in goal-setting and performance reviews within the firm.
  • Engage in ongoing legal training as required.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in Indiana.
  • Experience or interest in Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Civil Rights, or Family Law.
  • Strong jury trial experience.
  • Experience in federal court is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in Indiana.

Certifications:

  • Indiana State Bar license.

Skills:

  • Strong advocacy and trial experience.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues with a proactive and strategic approach.
