Quality and Regulatory Privacy Officer The candidate will support and guide the Function, and the businesses that they support, through the many areas of Data Protection and Privacy risk and compliance, including but not limited to the following areas for firm: Support and partner with the Clinical Affairs group to enable privacy compliance within the growing clinical affairs structure and processes. Provide expertise on the firm Privacy Rules, data protection laws and regulations and best practices to aid the overall enterprise in its risk management and compliance efforts within the legal framework. Work closely with customers and works councils to communicate our internal privacy system for protecting personal and sensitive data including personal data related to our customers, consumers, and employees. Conduct Q&R Privacy Impact Assessments and other Risk Assessments related to the tools and systems leveraged by the Q&R Function and on any processing of personal data. Provide Q&R specific guidance (drafting and roll-out guidance) to Global Privacy Office regarding initiatives and deployments based upon the Privacy Rules and/or data protection laws and regulations. Implement, within the Q&R function, any roll-out of Global Privacy Office initiatives and deployments to aid in compliance with the firm Privacy Rules and/or data protection laws and regulations. Aid the Markets and Businesses with customer inquiries, on-site visits and discussions on contracts, sales and processes related to the data collected for Quality and Regulatory processing. Ensure customer and consumer privacy requirements are incorporated into product and service design. Should preferably have a law degree. Must have 5+ years experience working for a large organization in the data and patient privacy space. Conduct privacy event investigations, resolution and required notification under applicable Data Protection Law is needed. Monitor and maintain an understanding of applicable data protection laws, standards and codes of conduct is needed.
