Paralegal/Social Media Candidate will be part of team of 9 attorneys and 5 litigation paralegals to provide comprehensive litigation support and manage firm’s online presence. Will likely be split into 90% paralegal duties and 10% internet presence activities. Paralegal duties may include: Court filings, e-filing, e-serving; Calendaring hearings, deadlines, reminders; Drafting routine pleadings; Ordering and tracking records; Medical records analysis; Document review; Deposition designations; FOIA/PRA requests; Support for lead paralegals during trial; Client communication as needed; Preparing notebooks and materials for depositions and trials. Internet presence activities may include: Managing, updating, and creating content for social media accounts; Keeping track of online presence and reputation/reviews; Proactively determining new and alternate ways to increase online presence; Liaison with SEO and webpage vendors.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Smart, self-motivated, excellent written and verbal communication skills. A whiz at all things Microsoft Office related. Knowledgeable about the Washington Civil Rules and deadlines. Competent with all social media platforms; comfortable working with others to develop web content. Able to juggle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
