Job Overview:

The firm specializes in high-asset and complex family law cases, and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience litigating family law matters, including divorce, custody, spousal support, and property division. The role offers the chance to work alongside Certified Family Law Specialists in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Location:

• Corona, CA

Duties:

• Handle high-asset and complex family law cases from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Represent clients in court, including presenting motions, arguments, and other necessary legal procedures.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal advice and case updates.
• Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal secretaries, and other staff to manage caseloads effectively.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate and take cases to trial when necessary.
• Maintain a reputation of professionalism and integrity while working with clients and other legal professionals.
• Manage and oversee all case-related administrative aspects, including billing and case timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years’ experience litigating family law cases.
• Extensive knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to handle high-asset and complex family law cases independently.
• Experience managing cases with the support of a team, including paralegals and legal assistants.
• Strong court presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Superior writing skills and ability to draft clear, concise legal documents.
• Professional reputation for integrity, ethics, and excellent client service.
• Ability to resolve family law cases through settlement or trial.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License (Required)
• Certified Family Law Specialist or eligibility for certification (Preferred).
