Training Instructor, GS 9 Duties: The candidate will serve as a Training Instructor in the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. Will advice, direct, and guide others in the area of modern education methods, schema, and learning practices. Determine instructional approaches and methodologies to achieve instruction objectives. Analyze individual and group training and development needs to monitor the effectiveness of programs. Conduct orientation to convey training objectives to new students.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate should have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Should have specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing training or classroom instruction on basic electronics theory required for follow-on electronics maintenance course; developing training curriculum; and evaluating a training program to provide revisions and/or modifications. OR Must have successfully completed a masters or equivalent graduate degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. OR Must have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
